About this role

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage corporate secretarial responsibilities for India, Hong Kong and Singapore
- Manage board meetings for the corporate entities in India, Hong Kong, Singapore including consolidation of board materials and board minutes
- Manage the process for Directors KYC to be confirmed and updated regularly
- Respond to corporate entity KYC requests from business
- Review vendor contracts
- Review and advise on functions that may be set up within corporate entities in accordance with regulatory permissions
- Create and maintain accurate departmental records and other supporting materials
- Participate in global and/or regional Legal & Compliance calls, initiatives and projects
- Work with colleagues from other BlackRock offices to ensure global best practice and consistency
- Support ad-hoc projects and initiatives

Qualifications:

- A law degree from a nationally recognized law school with at least 5 years of experience in corporate or a law firm
- Experience in handling corporate secretarial responsibilities
- Ability to work independently with mínimal supervision
- Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work well in a team-based environment and interact and communicate effectively - written and verbal - with senior management and other stakeholders
- Strong organizational skills with ability to motivate and work with the team to get the best desired output for the function and the organization
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail, data analysis and problem-solving capabilities
- Proactive and self-motivated with a “can do” attitude and an ability to use own initiative
