**Urgent_Academic Counselor/Education Counselor_Pune**

**Job Summary**:
The Academic Counselor and Center Coordinator will provide guidance and support to students in their academic pursuits, and will also be responsible for the overall management of the counseling center, as well as Tele-calling prospective students.

**Roles and Responsibilities**:
Provide academic counseling to students in areas such as course selection, major exploration, academic planning, and career development.

Assist students in understanding academic policies and procedures, and help them navigate any academic or administrative challenges they may encounter.

Work with students to identify their strengths and weaknesses, and develop strategies to address any academic or personal challenges they may face.

Monitor academic progress and provide regular feedback to students, and identify opportunities for academic enrichment or additional support.

Collaborate with faculty, staff, and other student support services to develop programs and services that promote academic success and student retention.

Manage the day-to-day operations of the counseling center, including scheduling appointments, managing staff schedules, and overseeing administrative tasks.

Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress, and use this data to inform counseling strategies and program development.

Develop and maintain partnerships with community organizations, employers, and other stakeholders to enhance student opportunities and support services.

Stay up-to-date on current trends and best practices in academic counseling and student support, and participate in professional development activities as needed.

Conduct Tele-calling to prospective students, providing information about academic programs and support services, and answering questions about admissions, financial aid, and other relevant topics.

Maintain accurate records of Tele-calling interactions and outcomes, and use this data to inform Tele-calling strategies and program development.

**Qualifications**:
Experience working in a higher education setting and/or providing academic counseling to students.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to listen actively and empathetically, and to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of students and colleagues.

Strong organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and ethical standards in all aspects of the job.

Previous experience in center management or administration is preferred.

Previous experience in telecalling or sales is preferred.
