**Job Description**:
The Cafe Host at Cafe Khoblu by MeenaBagh Homes is responsible for overseeing the smooth operation of the cafe, managing the service and kitchen staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to handle guest inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide innovative ideas to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Staff Management:

- Supervise and train the service and kitchen staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
- Coordinate work schedules, breaks, and shift rotations to maintain efficient operations.
- Provide guidance and support to staff, promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations and address any performance issues.

2. Customer Service:

- Build rapport with guests and create a welcoming atmosphere in the cafe.
- Greet guests, assist with table selection, and manage table reservations.
- Address customer complaints or concerns promptly and ensure their resolution.
- Strive to exceed guest expectations and provide exceptional service at all times.

3. Operations Management:

- Monitor inventory levels, place orders for supplies, and ensure timely deliveries.
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth coordination between the front and back of house operations.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the cafe, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Oversee the setup and arrangement of tables, chairs, and other equipment in the cafe.

4. Sales and Marketing:

- Develop innovative ideas and suggestions to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with the management team to create and implement marketing strategies.
- Promote special offers, events, and promotions to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Monitor sales performance and propose strategies for achieving sales targets.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Previous experience in a supervisory or management role in the food and beverage industry is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with guests and staff.
- Ability to handle complaints and resolve conflicts in a professional and efficient manner.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities to manage the cafe's operations effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and health standards.
- Creativity and a customer-oriented mindset to generate innovative ideas for enhancing customer satisfaction and sales.
- Proficiency in computer systems and point-of-sale (POS) software is an advantage.
- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Salary**: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month

- Shimla, Himachal Pradesh: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
