FreeUp is seeking a creative and driven Social Media Intern to join our team. As a Social Media Intern, you will be responsible for producing engaging video content to be shared across our social media platforms. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in digital marketing and content creation while contributing to the growth of a dynamic e-commerce company.

The philosophy of the business model is shaped around the sentiment of decluttering, recycling, socializing and saving money in a fun and reliable way. Members can market and sell pre-owned or new products to potential buyers who might need them, in an effortless manner. Today, FreeUp services an expanding base of over 26,000+ PIN codes across India, and aims to be the go-to destination for peer-to-peer commerce that is backed by trust.

You will be a part of a team that is building and owning systems that would have critical business impact from day one. All this under the leadership, guidance and collaboration with founders who bring together a diverse set of experience from the consulting, e-commerce, and quick commerce space.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Video Content Creation**: Produce high-quality video content for various social media platforms including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, etc.
- **Content Ideation**: Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm and develop creative ideas for video content that align with FreeUp’s brand identity and marketing objectives.
- **Scriptwriting**: Write compelling scripts and storyboards for video content, ensuring clear messaging and engaging storytelling.
- **Filming and Editing**: Capture and edit video footage using industry-standard software to create polished and professional-looking short videos.
- **Influencer Collaboration**: Assist in identifying and researching potential influencers and content creators for collaboration opportunities, taking into account target audience, brand fit, and engagement metrics.
- **Platform Management**: Assist in managing FreeUp’s social media accounts, including scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and responding to comments and messages.
- **Collaboration**:Work closely with the marketing team and other relevant stakeholders to ensure alignment between video content and overall marketing initiatives..
- **Continuous Learning**: Proactively seek opportunities for learning and skill development in video production, social media marketing, and related areas.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a relevant degree program (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Film Production).
- Strong passion for video production and social media marketing, with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar programs.
- Basic understanding of graphic design principles and experience using design tools like Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey ideas effectively.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a willingness to experiment and try new approaches.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and trends, particularly in the e-commerce and digital marketing space.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
