Job Title: Front Desk/Dental Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage the appointment calendar efficiently.
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
- Assist patients with completing necessary forms and ensure accurate documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and answering inquiries.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including managing patient records and filing systems.
- Prepare treatment rooms for dental procedures, ensuring cleanliness and proper equipment setup.
- Assist dental professionals during procedures by handing them instruments, suctioning, and providing support as needed.
- Sterilize and disinfect dental instruments and equipment following infection control guidelines.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions.
- Process payments, insurance claims, and maintain financial records accurately.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and equipment, restocking as needed.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure smooth workflow and exceptional patient care.
- Adhere to all clinic policies, procedures, and safety protocols.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional dental assistant training or certification is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Proficient computer skills and experience with dental software systems.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and infection control protocols.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in all documentation and record-keeping.
- Reliable and punctual, with a professional and courteous demeanor.
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
