- Plan, monitor & control the cost (spares, inventory, repairs & manpower) as per budget of electrical maintenance in Pre & Post Clinkerisation of Line 1, 2 & 3, LSSR, WS/WF and Coal Yard in order to optimize maintenance costs.
- Reduce inventory by keeping control over indents.
- Prepare Kaizens & Focussed improvement study for reducing costs.
- Reduce consumption by improving uptime of plant.
- Control utilisation of contract manpower & overtime.
- Prepare budgets.
- Monitor expenditure with respect to budget.
- Take corrective action.
- Fixing up of performance objectives.
- Performance assessment of subordinate.
- Appraise subordinate.
- Appraisal feedback to sub-ordinates.
- Maintain discipline.
- Manpower planning/rationalisation.

- Project engineering:

- Assist in conceptualization, carry out feasibility study, planning and organizing project activities related to electrical works for capital projects to achieve capacity upgradation & productivity improvement by bridging technological gap.
- Interact with Consultants, Technology suppliers.
- Conduct preliminary study based on technical inputs.
- Conduct feasibility studies.
- Prepare project budgets
- Develop implementation plans.
- Project execution:

- Organise, coordinate & monitor execution & commissioning of Capex projects and major modifications related to electrical works in time to achieve targeted results.
- Prepare execution plans.
- Organize project team.
- Mobilize & plan resources
- Plan shutdown for project hook up.
- Monitor & review progress against the plan.
- Ensure statutory compliances, & Safety norms are met with.
- Ensure drawings & documentation is updated & handed over to operational staff
- Coordinate commissioning activities
- Continuous Improvement. Identify, coordinate & monitor implementation of improvements projects in order to improve the availability and reduce cost of maintenance.
- Collection of data on failures and bottlenecks & identification of improvements projects.
- Analysis of failures.
- Identify improvement actions.
- Formulate proposal i.e., equipment specification, drawings etc. & seek approval.
- Guide & review for implementation.

**Qualifications**:
Bachelor Of Engineering,Master of Engineering

**Minimum Experience Level**:
10-16 Years
