Overview:
Waters Corporation is always looking to hire outstanding future talent for our company. The** Marketing** team is looking to hire a summer intern out of our Bangalore office.This internship is a phenomenal opportunity to gain real-world experience while working at the world's leading specialty measurement company. This internship will last approximately six months and the program will commense with immediate effect.

We contribute to ensuring the safety of food and water, such as precise PFAS measurement, and advancing new materials and technology, including batteries for electric vehicles.

**Responsibilities**:

- To reach to customer for communicating our solutions for Bio processing work.
- To understand the needs of customer as per their regular challanges in this area.
- To work with manager to provide all neccessary infotmation and lieterture to customers on time in upstream work
- to build a potential funnel for this segment while reaching to customer through different communication
- Conduct cold calls and learn market research tools to help establish lines of communication between the company and new clients.
- Collaborate with the Inside Sales Department, Marketing Department, and Business Development teams.
- Coordinate all marketing and related activities within defined accounts in the territory to include lead generation and follow-up, cold calling, coordinating, and customer support requirements.
- Lead Key Account activities for high value accounts.
- Keep manager abreast of any new developments in the marketplace (competitive, product, customer, wins/losses, etc.).
- Present the company’s products in a positive manner and maintain/build our reputation in the marketplace.

**Qualifications specific to this role**:

- Graduate / Post graduate in chemistry / microbilogy / biotechnology.
- Technical experience in lab instrument would be preferred.
