Position**:Executive Sous Chef**

Location**:Sonipat**

Skill**:Continental Cuisine,** **Oriental Food, Indian Food, Bakery Understanding of various cuisines, bulk cooking and Menu planning, Food & Material cost control, recipe costing**

**Job Purpose**

This position requires to manage complete F&B production in terms of Quality, Quantity, team management, consumer satisfaction, wastage, material cost control and product innovation.

**Key Responsibilities**

Managerial Responsibilities
- Guide and demonstrates good knowledge of various cuisines, like therapeutic diets, and raw materials.
- Monitors production plan, food wastage and controls material cost
- Coordination with SCM and vendors for quality and quantity of raw materials
- Exhibit leadership qualities in handling employees through motivation, development, and growth
- Assuring operations are run as per Sodexo’s policies and procedures
- Focus on safety culture and HSE compliance.
- Ensures upkeep and maintenance of kitchen equipment

**Functional Responsibilities**
- Work closely with client and Hospitality Manager to provide food as per defined standards and scope mentioned in contract
- Accountable for food/ material cost, quality of food and hygiene standards
- Ensure good connect with team and work on reduction of attrition and absenteeism
- Ensures indenting, receiving and storing of raw as well as cooked food
- Ensure operations are managed safely in line with the scope of work defined in the contract
- Work with HSE team to understand and follow the processes and policies

**Job Requirements**

Qualifications Hotel Management Graduate or Food Craft Diploma or Apprentice Course

**Experience**
- 6+ years of experience.
- Experience as a Sous Chef/ Ex. Sous Chef in reputed Hotel or catering industry or chain of restaurant or airlines catering. Preference to be given for Healthcare experienced person. Knowledge of Continental cuisine is must.

**Functional Competencies Food Know-How** Understanding of various cuisines, bulk cooking and Menu planning
