**Main duties of the job**

We are recruiting for the position of full-time, consultant Neurologist.

The principal role of the post is to run and develop outpatient and inpatient Neurology service, Neuro critical care, Neuro interventions. Setting up and formalising specialist services Epilepsy clinics, Stroke units, Parkinsons disease clinics, and management of Neurodevelopmental defect will be encouraged and supported. Coordination and close liaison with Neurosurgery and Orthopaedic & spine surgery department for effective management of Neurotrauma and spinal injuries is strongly expected.

**Qualifications & Experience**

**Qualifications**
- Post Graduate Training (MD)in General Medicine /Paediatrics / Geriatrics
- Superspeciality (DM) Training in Neurology
- Fellowships / Subspeciality Training / Experience are preferable

**Clinical Experience**
- Wide experience in general adult / Pardiatric Neurology
- Sub-speciality interests management of Epilepsy / specific disorders etc are preferable.
