**Key Responsibilities**:

- Leading and managing the Psychiatry department, including overseeing faculty, staff, and residents.
- Developing and implementing academic programs, curriculum, and research initiatives in Psychiatry.
- Providing specialized psychiatric care to patients with various mental health disorders.
- Conducting psychiatric evaluations and assessments, including diagnostic interviews and mental status examinations.
- Developing and overseeing individualized treatment plans for patients, which may include medication management, psychotherapy, and other therapeutic interventions.
- Participating in multidisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate care for patients with complex psychiatric needs.
- Providing supervision and mentorship to psychiatric residents, medical students, and other trainees.
- Engaging in scholarly activities, including research, publications, and presentations in the field of Psychiatry.
- Collaborating with other departments and healthcare professionals to promote integrated care and patient-centered approaches.
