Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre is 900 bedded Multi-Super Specialty Hospital, requires:
Position: Staff Nurse, Labor Room
Experience: 1 to 5 years experience in Labor Room
Qualification: GNM/B. Sc. Nursing
- To follow admission and management of all patients admitted in Labour Room.
To maintain medico-legal and other labour room data’s.
- When the expectant mother arrives at the hospital, the senior staff nurse will assign qualified nurse to take history to assess the condition of both mother and baby and to ensure that potential complications are spotted ahead of time.
- To monitor the uncomplicated deliveries and a number of possible complications including eclampsia, diabetes, prolapsed cord, malpresentation and ruptured uterus, etc.
- To provide guidelines for the use of oxytocin in induction of labour.
- To standardize the approach to the management of severe pre
- eclampsia for the immediate pre and post-delivery interval in order to improve the outcome for the mother and child.
- To ensure centralized continuous electronic fetal monitoring.
- To provide immediate care, safety and comfort for antenatal and postnatal cases
- Any other duties and responsibilities mentioned to you by the superiors from time to time.
- Working in Shift duties is mandatory.
- Based on availability free accommodation in campus and free food for females.
**Salary**: From ₹20,000.00 per month
