- Concept design, Packaging study and release of Exhaust system for MB Trucks ICE programs.
- Design for mounting brackets for Exhaust related attachments.
- Coming up with innovative ideas to solve technical issues and working together with cross functional teams.
- Understand and analyze FEA reports, and carry out corrective actions.
- Detailed engineering drawing creation and release process awareness as per MB Truck standards.
- Understand counterpart requirement and meet expected quality and timeline.
- Communicate with counterpart on a regular basis and assist supervisor in management level reviews and presentations.
- Get work projection from the counterpart on a regular basis and keep supervisor informed for any deviations.
- Atleast 3-4 years experience in the current role handling diverse topics and multiple projects.
- Good understanding of truck/Commercial vehicle - Knowledge of MB Trucks portfolio and release process is a must.
- Experience of working on exhaust systems for multiple BUs is an added advantage.
- Experience in designing inlet and outlet exhaust pipes considering functional requirements (Knowledge of flow simulation boundary conditions is a must).
- Stiffness and durability requirements of structural components.
- Design of casting & sheet metal components based on functional, strength, manufacturability, assembly and serviceability requirements.
- PDM/PLM, GD&T, FEA, UG NX knowledge.
- Good communication skills.
