Job Summary:
**Responsibilities**:

- Design and deliver engaging and comprehensive lesson plans that align with the curriculum and educational standards.
- Teach various math topics, including algebra, geometry, calculus, statistics, and trigonometry, to students at the assigned grade level(s).
- Utilise a variety of instructional methods, resources, and technologies to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation, collaboration, and critical thinking.
- Assess and evaluate student progress through formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback to students and parents/guardians.
- Implement effective strategies to support struggling students and challenge advanced learners.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the math curriculum, ensuring its alignment with educational standards and objectives.
- Stay updated with current trends, research, and best practices in math education, integrating innovative and effective instructional techniques into lessons.
- Establish and maintain effective communication with parents/guardians, colleagues, and other stakeholders to support student development.
- Participate in professional development activities, conferences, and workshops to enhance teaching skills and stay updated of the latest developments in math education.
- Perform administrative tasks, including grading assignments, maintaining attendance records, and preparing progress reports.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Proven experience teaching math to students at the assigned grade level(s).
- Strong knowledge of math content, curriculum frameworks, and educational standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage students, parents/guardians, and colleagues.
- Ability to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment that promotes mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in integrating technology and digital resources into math instruction.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Flexibility and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students and adapt to changing educational trends.
- Passion for teaching and a commitment to the academic and personal growth of students.
