**Key Responsibilities**:

1. **Patient Transportation**:
○ Drive the ambulance safely and efficiently in various conditions, including emergency and non-emergency situations.

○ Assist in loading and unloading patients from the ambulance, ensuring comfort and safety.

○ Assist in any medical emergency, as required under the guidance of medical personnel

○ Maintain a calm and compassionate demeanor while interacting with patients and their families.

○ Assist customers with needs, such as carrying their luggage

2. **Vehicle Maintenance**:
○ Ensure that the vehicle has the required fuel to function properly

○ Conduct daily inspections of the ambulance to ensure all equipment is functioning properly and is well-stocked.

○ Report any mechanical issues or repairs needed to ensure the vehicle is in optimal condition.

○ Clean and sanitize the ambulance after each shift, adhering to infection control protocols.

3. **Navigation and Communication**:
○ Use GPS and maps to navigate efficiently to emergency scenes and medical facilities.

○ Communicate effectively with paramedics regarding patient conditions and transportation needs.

4. **Documentation and Reporting**:
○ Complete required documentation accurately, including patient transport logs and vehicle maintenance records

○ Report any incidents, accidents, or irregularities that occur during transportation.

5. **Compliance and Safety**:
○ Adhere to all local, state, and national regulations related to emergency vehicle operation and patient transport

○ Follow all safety protocols and best practices to ensure the safety of patients, crew members, and the public.

○ Participate in ongoing training and professional development as required

6. **Team Collaboration**:
○ Work closely with paramedics and other emergency service personnel to provide optimal patient care

○ Assist with patient care tasks as needed under the direction of medical personnel

7. **Emergency Preparedness**:
○ Develop and maintain emergency response plans for various scenarios.

○ Conduct training drills and simulations to ensure team readiness.

8. **Staff Management**:
○ Train, and mentor drivers, fostering a positive team environment.

○ Conduct performance evaluations and provide ongoing training to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices

9. Abide by company policies and requirements incl. wearing uniform and reporting required information

**Qualifications: - should be as prescribed under law **(including per National Ambulance Code - AIS-125)**. An illustrative list below**:

- 12th pass out
- At Least 2 years experience in driving ambulances
- Valid commercial/ heavy driver’s license as required to drive an ambulance
- Knowledge of local road systems, emergency response protocols, and basic first aid
- Ability to work in night shifts as per schedule
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Ability to remain calm and make decisions under pressure

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and assist in lifting patients as required.
- Capacity to sit for extended periods while driving and to perform physical tasks in emergency situations

Pay: ₹10,030.87 - ₹20,984.31 per month
