Research has indicated that 19% of men and 29% of women daily suffer from foot aches and pain. People are often unaware of the root cause of these aches, and if ignored or left unattended, they may result in more serious foot, ankle, back, knee, and hip-related ailments.

Kan Innovations is an India-based start-up focused on developing and building innovative technology-based solutions to everyday problems. We want to make people's lives easier and healthier. We are the proud creators of OHM X series of plantar pressure systems and TRED, a line of prefabricated insoles.

We are now launching TRED diabetic footwear and TRED custom insoles. We are looking for dynamic talented individuals to join our rapidly growing team. We are currently looking for a junior orthotist and prosthetist who will have the following responsibilities:

- Designing and fabricating orthotic devices based on patients measurements and physician prescriptions
- Interviewing and assessing patients to identify unique needs and briefing on treatment plans
- Measuring or taking impressions of a patient’s feet to design a footwear and or insoles
- Constructing prosthetics or orthotics by hand or supervising construction by medical appliance technicians
- Providing patients with device use and maintenance instructions
- Providing ongoing care and repairing or adjusting devices as treatments progress
- Provide insights and inputs on how to improve operational processes.

What must you have?
- Experience of 0 - 2 years working with insoles and footwear
- Technical skills to be able to design orthotics or prosthetics with the appropriate materials, measurements and components
- Detail-oriented for precise patient assessments and device design and fabrication
- Communication skills to communicate with physicians and technicians on construction and device prescriptions as well as with patients with instructions on how to use devices
- Physical stamina and dexterity to work with precise tools and perform physically demanding tasks including examining patients and working with equipment
- Interpersonal skills to work patiently and empathetically with patients who need additional sensitivity or attention
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to carefully assess patients’ needs and develop individualized treatment plans
- Hunger to learn and adapt
- Willingness to travel within MMR

**Salary**:

- Rs. 20,000 - 30,000 Monthly depending on experience
- Incentives on sale

**Salary**: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
