Responsibilities

must be B.Tech with 5Years experience in IT Sector and should have more than 3

years’ experience as Traffic Engineer. The Traffic Engineer will be responsible for preparing and

reviewing traffic management and traffic diversions plans including design, implementation and

maintenance.
- Preparing SLA report as per the contract agreement and submitting to the customer on

monthly basis.
- Ensuring maximum uptime of ICT Components.
- Performing schedule maintenance for the ITMS field components as per the plan.
- Ensuring maximum uptime of ICT Components.
- Performing preventive maintenance activity for the ITMS field components as per the

approved preventive maintenance action plan.
- Visiting every junction on daily basis to check the functionality of junctions.
- If any junction is not working, identify the problem, determine the cause and establish an

action plan for resolution. And confirm the junction live at ICCC & challan generation.
- Root cause analysis to be done for repetitive problems occurring on regular basis,

recommend and implement solutions.
- Replacement of faulty components in field with the help of BEL Service Provider team.
- Coordination with the BEL Service Provider over phone/mail for sending the faulty

components and spare requirements.
- Replacement of batteries with the help of BEL Service Provider team based on its lifetime as

recommended by the OEM.
- Coordination with the vendor (BEL Service Provider) team for carrying out preventive

maintenance activities like cleaning of Junction boxes, cleaning of Cameras, welding of

junction box doors etc.
- Coordination with the traffic police department during any VIP Movements and updating the

camera focusing based on the route as per the recommendation of traffic police
- Coordination with the D&E team of BEL Service Provider if ITMS portal not working.
- Manual tickets generation for the down junctions. And assigning of tickets for the respective

process owner/ service providers.
- Coordination with the process owners for the generated tickets and making sure the raised

ticket is closed without SLA breach.
- Recording the open time and close time for the raised tickets.
- Coordination with BEL service provider for carrying out installation activities at field if any.
- For demarcation of stop line at junctions, request letter to be submitted to ASCL.
- Regular checking of bolts and nuts of standard poles, cantilever poles and pole termination

box.
- Register to be maintained for the available inventory/spare materials and inform the BEL

Management regarding the available spares.
- Preparation of power point presentation on project during any VIP visit.
- Training to be provided to team members on regular basis.
- Coordination with BEL service provider for any new junction installation as per the

requirement of ASCL
- Coordinate with Traffic Police to ensure safe & smooth traffic movement and operation.
- Preparation and overall improvement in Traffic Control Devices.
- Performs Accident investigation, evaluation & measures to avoid the accidents.
- Liaison with Consultants, Sub
- contractors, Management Team and with local authorities
- Attending and managing all traffic management coordination meetings with Traffic Police,

Customers and other stakeholders.
- Supporting project management.
- Ensuring solution and operations reliability.
- Analyse and improve system performance.
- designing and implementing intelligent traffic management system projects for traffic

management, signal synchronization etc.,
- Junction survey and preparation of junction drawings.
- Analysis of traffic data and junction timings.
- Experience with Microsoft windows OS & Linux OS
- Traffic models and traffic management plans.

**Education Qualification & experience**:
Full time MCA/ M.Tech /BE/ B.Tech

From a reputed institute; 5 years

Experience in IT sector; 3 years

Experience as Traffic engineer

Duration: 5 Years
