Key Responsibilities:
1.

Develop and Execute Sales Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue growth targets.

Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted marketing campaigns to support sales efforts.

2.

Lead Sales Team:
o

Manage and motivate a team of sales professionals, providing guidance, training, and feedback to ensure they meet their sales targets.

o

Identify and develop high-potential sales talent, and provide training and development opportunities to enhance their skills.

3.

Client Relationship Management:
o

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met and exceeding their expectations.

o

Identify new business opportunities within existing client relationships.

4.

Sales Operations:
o

Oversee the sales operations’ function, including sales forecasting, pipeline management, and sales analytics.

o

Develop and maintain sales processes, procedures, and tools to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.

5.

Business Development:
o

Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including partnerships, collaborations, and strategic alliances.

o

Develop and maintain relationships with industry partners, vendors, and stakeholders.

6.

Revenue Growth:
o

Drive revenue growth through innovative sales strategies, including upselling, cross-selling, and expanding existing client relationships.

o

Identify and pursue new revenue streams, such as online training programs or corporate partnerships.

7.

Reporting and Analysis:
o

Provide regular sales reports to the Management, highlighting key performance indicators (KPIs), sales trends, and areas for improvement.

o

Analyse sales data to identify opportunities for growth, optimize sales processes, and improve sales productivity.

8.

Market Intelligence:
o

Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments to identify potential impacts on sales strategies and opportunities for differentiation.

o

Conduct regular market analysis to anticipate shifts in customer demands and adapt sales tactics accordingly.

9.

Strategic Planning:
o

Collaborate with the executive team to align sales strategies with overall business goals and objectives.

o

Participate in the development of the company's long-term strategic plan, providing insights and recommendations based on sales data and market conditions.

10.

Quality Assurance:
o

Establish and maintain best practices in sales processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and ethical sales practices.

o

Foster an environment that encourages constructive feedback and continuous improvement in the sales process.

11.

Budget Management:
o

Prepare and manage the sales department budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources to achieve sales targets.

o

Evaluate the return on investment for sales initiatives and adjust strategies to maximize profitability.

12.

Customer Feedback Loop:
o

Create mechanisms for gathering and analysing customer feedback to refine sales strategies and enhance customer satisfaction.

o

Use customer insights to improve product offerings and service delivery.

13.

Networking:
o

Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and other networking events to promote the brand and foster relationships with potential clients and partners.

o

Establish a network of industry contacts to stay connected and identify new business opportunities.

**Requirements**:
o

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; an MBA is a plus.

o

Proven experience in a similar leadership role in Sales/Marketing.

o

Demonstrated success in driving sales growth in a competitive market.

o

Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and techniques.

o

Exceptional leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.

o

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

o

Proficient in sales and CRM software, as well as Microsoft Office Suite
