The W&D manager plays a critical role in driving business operations by setting up warehouses, maintain oversight and managing entire regional W&D network across a wide geographical area. Warehouses shall require managing different storage conditions of products in their respective allocated space of ambient, cool, drug license storage, food license storage.
The regional W&D manager is responsible for developing and implementing strategies with appropriate logístical operations to support sales with right service levels and cost within allocated budgets ensuring that the operations are compliant in all the aspects. This is to ensure that he is always able to partner and act as an enabler to sales team in delivering organizational objectives.

W&D manager has a wide range of interactions with others, both internally and externally. Internally, the W&D manager works closely with Customer Service, Regional Sales Team including Area Sales Managers and Regional Sales Managers. They also need to interact with other external government and regulatory departments. Also, W&D manager has interactions with key customers and stakeholders, such as logistics service providers, transport partners, other warehousing related vendors, and distributors.

Overall, the nature and level of interactions for the W&D Manager are varied and dynamic, requiring strong communication and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

**Role summary**:P**rimary purpose of this job**
- Oversee and Manage Administration and operation of 4-6 warehouses spread across different Indian states, including but not limited to processing, re-packaging and storage of finished goods and equipment. Oversees receipt, storage and shipment of materials, and related reporting in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and coordinates schedules for shipping and receiving materials to control the flow of goods and regulate warehouse space.
- Managing 3PL Vendors and Logistics vendors, fixed and variable warehousing cost management, OTIF service level delivery and all the warehouse linked compliances in quality, legal, regulatory, safety, financial etc.
- Tracking entire distribution of goods onwards from warehouse to all the customers (distributors - GT, MT, Ecomm, CSD, B2B etc) in timely and cost optimal manner.

**Key Roles & Responsibilities**
- Focuses resources on continuous improvement of the movement of finished goods through various processes and establishes key performance metrics and benchmarks relating to supply chain warehousing and logistics to measure actual performance against goals on a regular basis.
- Functionally support the warehouse shipping process by managing all Outbound deliveries for finished stock shipments to include necessary coordination with Planning, Quality Assurance (QA) & Central Distribution Centers (CDCs / RDCs).
- Organize outbound truckloads to maximize space usage to provide transportation cost efficiencies, ensure preferred carriers are selected and complete all Distributed Control System (DCS) transactions for outgoing shipments.
- Responsible for all Financial compliances in the warehouse, Regulatory Licenses, Quality Audits (Internal / External), Recall Management, Safety EHS in warehouse, and other Legal controls / compliances at the warehouses
- Maintain high level of inventory accuracy for finished goods and perform oversight on cycle counts done by 3PL.
- Maintain and build strong relationships with Logistics service providers and Regional Sales Teams and intervene whenever needed to ensure smooth operations
- Strong knowledge of Warehousing and Logistics, associated cost structures - both fixed and variable
- Should have the broad business understanding of Sales distribution network in India (preferably FMCG)
- Good Negotiation, Inter-personal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of ~15 to 20: 3PL personnel (LSP staff)
- Customer Facing Role requires thinking and problem solving on the go
- Able to navigate through conflicting priorities between stakeholders and ambiguous situations
