ECA specialist, creative, Experienced in CBSE/IGCSE school

To oversee the teaching of Sport throughout the school and the implementation of

the curriculum

To co-ordinate the programme for Extra Curricular activities ensuring a wide range of

quality and enjoyable activities are offered to pupils

Liaise with staff to motivate and encourage active role in the running of the

programme

Monitor effectiveness of individual provision and report to Head on a regular basis.

To Support and advise the staff who teach Sport and assist them in their choice of

learning material

To seek opportunities for pupils to engage in activities with other schools,

competitions and challenges in Sport supporting both pupil enhancement and raising

of school profile

To raise the profile of Sport across the school

Support the development of and use of the School Grounds to support the Sport

Curriculum across the school

General

appropriate training to maintain up-to-date professional expertise.

To undertake other duties appropriate to the general purpose of the post that may

from time to time be reasonably assigned by the headteacher including

chairing/participating on such committees and working parties as the Headteacher

may require.

To make a full and active contribution to the extra-curricular life of the school.

To be pro-active on behalf of the school in external matters, particularly in relation to

those concerning I.A.P.S and local partnerships with schools

To be aware of any signs of stress, emotional imbalance or learning difficulties and

keep appropriate people informed over these concerns
