**About the job**
SAFAL was founded by in 2010 to help hardworking people in the developing India lift themselves, their families, and their communities out of poverty.
- SAFAL was captivated by the spirit and character of the M.P people. But he was appalled by the depth of poverty that surrounded him. SAFAL understood that the contrast between this poverty and his own prosperity came not from any innate difference between himself and a poor farmer.
- Instead, the people he saw struggled because they lacked the knowledge, skills and tools needed to lift themselves out of poverty. So in 2010, SAFAL - short for “technology in the service of mankind.” SAFAL as a different type of firm, one that would help poor people by connecting them to information and market opportunities.
- Today, SAFAL works with FPOs community to build competitive farms, businesses and industries. SAFAL have worked in more than 40 FPOs in M.P &UP assisting businesses and improving the incomes of Farmers.
**Responsibilities**:
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements under the Companies Act, FEMA, and other relevant legislation.
- Facilitating, convening and conducting Board and General Meetings, preparing agendas, recording minutes, and ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
- Drafting, reviewing and ensuring filing of various forms, returns, and documents with the Registrar of Companies (ROC) and other regulatory authorities.
- Maintaining statutory records and registers and ensuring timely updation and accuracy of records.
- Managing communication with stakeholders (internal and external) and providing Corporate information and documents on a timely basis, including directors, auditors, legal advisors, and other regulatory bodies.
- Staying up-to-date with regulatory changes and updates, and ensuring timely implementation of new requirements.
- Providing guidance and support to other departments on legal and compliance matters.
**Requirements**:
- Qualified Company Secretary with ICSI membership having 04-08 years of post-qualification experience.
- In-depth knowledge of Indian Companies Act, FEMA, Singapore Companies Act and other relevant legislations.
- Familiarity with international compliances and regulations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks.
- Has knowledge, experience and capability of reviewing and preparing paperwork applicable to the legal entities and is capable of interpreting applicable laws and amendments to the same keeping in mind the business carried on by the Company and industry practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records and sensitivity in handling confidential information.
- Capable of working independently with mínimal supervision.
