**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**VALIDATION DESIGNER**:
As a Validation Designer he/she will interface with system, program, and quality teams to meet commitments for quality, cost and delivery and will execute following responsibilities:

- Write Test Cases and execute the V&V Plan inline with Product Verification and Validation strategy to ensure proper coverage
- Demonstrate that design requirements and intended use cases are met
- Define and agree V&V activity schedule
- Understand Project scope/business and existing process methodology and enhance product quality
- Define needs, architecture and follow-up implementation of testbenches and analysis tools
- Identifying Issues, Risks
- Interact with product owners, development teams and other stakeholders to develop a strong understanding of the product & testing objectives
- Develop and Implement Test Automation and other Innovative solutions

**EDUCATION**:

- Bachelor/Post Graduate in Engineering - IT, CS, ECE & EEE or Equivalent

**BEHAVIORAL COMPETENCIES**:

- Be Innovative and demonstrate to peers and implement in verification & validation of software products and components and model-based developments
- Demonstrate excellent communication skills and able to guide, influence and convince others in a matrix organization.
- Team Player

**TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES & EXPERIENCE**:

- 8+ years of experience in Software Testing, Requirement Based Testing
- Good knowledge in SW Module/functional and integration testing
- Good knowledge of testing techniques like black box, boundary value analysis, Robustness analysis
- Proficiency in Analyzing Requirements, Design and preparation of Test Scenarios, Test Cases related to System, Regression, Integration, and End to End Test Cases using different techniques
- Knowledge of Automation Frameworks
- Embedded Validation Experience
- Knowledge of configuration management tools like ClearCase etc.
- Knowledge of bug reporting tools like Bugzilla ,Clear Quest etc.
- Experience in writing script using Python, Shell and work experince on Linux/Ubuntu platforms is a plus
- Knowledge in Railway Signaling Domain is an added advantag

**LANGUAGE & SKILLS**:

- Proficient in English language
- Good written and Verbal communication skills
