Academic Coordinator

Curriculum Development:
- Assist the principal in design and implement age-appropriate curriculum and teaching methodologies.
- Ensure alignment with educational standards and school policies.
- Make daily teaching plans for teachers and take approval from the principal on a monthly basis.
- Plan events and activities including shape days, color days, field trips etc..
- Teacher Training and Development:
- Conduct regular training sessions for teachers.
- Provide support and guidance to enhance teaching skills and classroom management.
- Monitor and analyze teacher progress, providing feedback to teachers along with valid observation.
- Be an integral part of appraisal formalities.
- Student Assessment and Progress Monitoring:
- Develop and implement assessment strategies for STD-6 TO STD-9 students.
- Check students' books, activity sheets and other study material on a weekly basis.
- Monitor and analyze student progress, providing feedback to parents on PTM’s
Resource Management:
- Plan HR requirements & manage recruitment activities for all classes.
- Create and present a timetable for the academic year.
- Manage and allocate resources such as teaching materials, books, and equipment.
- Ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment for young children.
- Parental Engagement:
- Facilitate effective communication between teachers and parents.
- Organize parent-teacher meetings and workshops to discuss student progress and development.
- Ensure updates of all segments on apps in a timely manner.
- Admissions and Orientation:
- Coordinate admissions processes with the admissions team.
- Allocate classrooms and sections as children are admitted based on the assessments held during the admissions process
- Meet with parents who are seeking admission for any doubts during the process.
- Conduct open houses for parents who are seeking admission.
- Conduct orientation programs for new students and parents.
- Safety and Well-being:
- Implement and enforce safety protocols in the section.
- Address the well-being and health needs of young children.
- Lead the transition of children from the gate to classes.
- Collaboration with Other Departments:
- Work collaboratively with transport, store, HR teams for ongoing work progress.
- Coordinate activities, events, and programs like annual day, sports day with other school sections.
- Innovation and Continuous Improvement:
- Encourage innovative teaching methods and activities.
- Identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain records of student attendance, performance, and behavior.
- Prepare and submit reports to school management and relevant stakeholders.
- Professional Development:
- Stay updated on the latest trends and research in early childhood education.
- Attend workshops and conferences to enhance professional knowledge.
**Salary**: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
