Introduction:
The resource will function as a QA & Automation Analyst within the Research Metrics team. The overall purpose of the role is to:

- Support Research Metrics team in requirement gathering, business analysis, data onboarding and testing of various data sources/ MIS Reports and dashboards.
- Drive delivery of key automation projects across multiple business areas.
- Drive weekly calls with the IT to monitor various data on-boarding initiatives, highlight risks involved and works toward mitigating the same.

What will you be doing?

The main duties of the job will be composed of the following:

- Understanding the Global Research business and products we offer to our clients.
- Supporting the Research Metrics team in defining and delivering requirement/ reviewing existing requirements and sharing the same with IT.
- Automate various business processes/ MIS using tools such as Excel, R, SQL or Python
- Complete assignment work to budget, time and quality requirements. Document all work in accordance with agreed standards, and with re-use in mind
- Provide accurate and timely status reports and project metrics to various levels of stakeholders and as agreed by the Research Metrics
- Escalate any issue as appropriate and in timely manner and provide options to resolve the issues from project’s point of view
- Participate in requirement analysis, identifying risks and creation of test scenarios
- Strong knowledge of Scrum, Agile and Kanban Methodology.
- Communicate directly with the stakeholders on a regular basis to discuss solutions proposed in terms of reports/ tools for continuous improvement.

Skills that will help you in the role:

- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/Analytics with 2-4 years of hands on experience in Business Intelligence and Management reporting is a must.
- Experience in data automation tools such as SQL, Excel Macro, R, Python or Tableau prep/Atleryx
- Experience in data visualization tools such as Qlik Sense, Tableau or SAP Business objects is a must
- Experience in working with Data Science use cases, Machine learning implementation and algorithms
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Knowledge of financial concepts such as equity and debt financial instruments.
- Good communication skills (both verbal and written).
