Nidhivan Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate South Indian Cook to join our culinary team. As a South Indian Cook, you will be responsible for preparing a variety of traditional South Indian dishes with a focus on authentic flavors and high-quality presentation. Your expertise will contribute to providing an exceptional dining experience for our guests.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**: Prepare and cook a wide range of South Indian dishes, and various regional specialties.
- **Menu Development**: Collaborate with the head chef to create and refine the South Indian menu, introducing new and seasonal dishes while maintaining authenticity.
- **Ingredient Management**: Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients by sourcing locally when possible and maintaining proper inventory levels.
- **Kitchen Operations**: Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations. Manage food storage, labeling, and rotation to minimize waste.
- **Team Collaboration**: Work closely with other kitchen staff to coordinate meal preparation and service, ensuring timely and consistent delivery of dishes.
- **Quality Control**: Taste and adjust seasoning, portion sizes, and presentation of dishes to ensure they meet the restaurant's high standards.
- **Customer Interaction**: Occasionally interact with guests to receive feedback on dishes and make adjustments as needed to enhance customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a South Indian Cook in a professional kitchen.
- Deep knowledge of South Indian cuisine, including regional variations.
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality dishes.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Culinary certification or formal training in South Indian cuisine.
- Experience in menu planning and development.
- Knowledge of North Indian or other regional cuisines is a plus.

As the General Manager of Nidhivan Restaurant, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations, including but not limited to customer service, staff management, financial performance, strategic planning, and fostering growth opportunities.
