Food Technologist

1.Research and development: Conduct research on food ingredients, production
processes, and packaging materials. Develop new food products or modify existing
ones to meet consumer demand and industry trends.

2.Quality control: Ensure that food products meet safety, quality, and regulatory
standards. Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to
identify potential issues and make necessary improvements.

3.Food safety: Implement food safety and sanitation standards to prevent foodborne
illnesses. Train and educate employees on proper handling, storage, and processing
of food products.

4.Product testing: Conduct sensory evaluations and laboratory tests to ensure that
food products meet quality and taste standards. Collaborate with marketing teams
to create product descriptions and packaging designs.

5.Production management: Oversee the production process to ensure that food
products are manufactured efficiently and cost-effectively. Monitor inventory levels
and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate supplies are available.

6.Regulatory compliance: Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and
standards set by government agencies. Keep up-to-date with changes in regulations
and implement necessary changes to meet new requirements.

7.Team management: Lead a team of food technologists and other professionals.
Assign tasks, provide guidance and training, and monitor progress to ensure that
projects are completed on time and within budget.
