Installation Configuration of Veritas NetBackup Server Client Configuring Policies Storage Devices Storage Units Volumes Catalog Backups and importing Images
- Troubleshoot backup and restore failures using native back up commands Roll back to last known good configuration in case of failed changes in the system
- Initiating Backup and Restore jobs upon requests Root cause Analysis of various backup and restore failures and performance issues of backup Applications Product
- Execute media management media labelling media retention media expiration media off site options
- Monitoring Active Monitor for any minor major errors in backups restores or any other NetBackup operations
- Perform backups restores analyzing logs and troubleshooting errors
- Creating new backup policies for both automated and manual backups
- Preparation of various management reports on daily weekly and monthly basis
- Working on Tickets basing on the severity level and closing the Tickets
- Hands on experience on situations where on call 24 x 7 support for mission critical systems and Production support
