The centre would focus on augmenting AGCO's global IT and Digital capability and investment in high-quality technology, innovation, and R&D talent.

The teams will be an integral part of AGCO's global ecosystem. They will work as part of a global cross-function and cross-cultural team, working together to deliver AGCO's purpose to provide Farmer-focused solutions to sustainably feed our world and our vision to be the Trusted partner for industry-leading, smart farming solutions.

As a Data and Analytics Architect, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the data and analytics landscape of our organization. This position combines expertise in data architecture, analytics, and strategic thinking to design and implement data solutions that drive informed decision-making and business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is leveraged effectively to achieve our organizational goals.

**Your Impact**
- Develop and lead the data and analytics strategy, aligning it with the organization's overall objectives. Define data architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
- Design and implement data models that support structured and unstructured data, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance. Create logical and physical data models. Continuously monitor and optimize data models for performance, scalability, and resource utilization, considering cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements & translate them into data model specifications.
- Work closely with data engineers to ensure that data models align with the requirements of data integration, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and data pipelines.
- Implement and adhere to data governance policies and standards, ensuring data quality, consistency, security, and compliance with industry regulations.
- Leverage cloud platforms such as AWS, Databricks, GCP and others to handle large datasets, storage and facilitate scalable solutions.
- Implement robust data security measures, including encryption, and access controls to protect sensitive data stored on the cloud.
- Continuously monitor and optimize data architecture and analytics solutions for performance and cost efficiency.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of data architecture and solutions, making it accessible to relevant teams, maintain detailed documentation of data models, schemas, and metadata to support data analysis and management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including system administrators, data engineers, and data analysts, to support the solutions around data and analytics.

**Your Experience and Qualifications**
- Proven experience as a Data Architect or in a similar role of relevant 9-14years.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and big data technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in Agile framework, collaborate with scrum team, attention to detail and possess good analytical thinking to identify data patterns & trends.
- Competencies - Data Modeling, Database Management, SQL, Data Warehousing, Data Governance, Cloud Technologies, Big Data Technologies, Data Integration, ETL processes.
