**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Design and Planning**:
- Develop conceptual designs and detailed architectural drawings based on client needs and project specifications.
- Create 2D and 3D models using software like AutoCAD, Revit, or SketchUp.
- Conduct site analysis and consider environmental, structural, and aesthetic factors in designs.
- **Client and Stakeholder Engagement**:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision, budget, and functional requirements.
- Present design concepts and gather feedback for revisions.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
- **Project Coordination and Management**:
- Develop project timelines and ensure designs are delivered on schedule.
- Oversee construction phases to ensure adherence to the design and quality standards.
- Provide on-site guidance and address construction-related issues or design adjustments.
- **Compliance and Standards**:
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate into projects.
- Prepare documentation required for permits and approvals.
- **Cost Estimation and Material Selection**:
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for projects.
- Recommend suitable materials, finishes, and furnishings that align with the design and budget.
- Work with vendors and suppliers to source materials.
- **Team Collaboration**:
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary teams to integrate architectural designs with structural, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Guide junior architects and interns, providing feedback and mentorship.
- Collaborate with interior designers, landscape architects, and other specialists as required.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from a recognized institution.
- Licensed Architect (or working towards licensure) as per local regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and sustainable design principles.
**Preferred Qualifications**:
- Experience with large-scale or specialized projects (e.g., residential, commercial, industrial, or heritage buildings).
- Certification in green building practices, such as LEED or equivalent.
- Familiarity with project management tools and methodologies.
