Job Summary:
The Purchase Executive in the medical industry is responsible for managing procurement activities for medical supplies, equipment, and services essential for the organization's operations. This role requires a deep understanding of medical procurement processes, regulatory requirements, and strong supplier management skills to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement while maintaining high standards of quality and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement Operations:
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and select reliable suppliers of medical supplies and equipment.

Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.

Purchase Order Processing:
Create and process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.

Monitor and track the status of purchase orders to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.

Inventory Management:
Monitor inventory levels of medical supplies and equipment.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders to forecast procurement needs and maintain optimal stock levels.

2. Compliance and Quality Assurance:
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure all procurement activities adhere to relevant regulations and guidelines (e.g., FDA regulations for medical devices).

Maintain documentation and records to support regulatory audits and inspections.

Quality Control:
Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure purchased items meet quality standards and specifications.

Handle supplier non-conformance issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.

3. Strategic Sourcing and Cost Management:
Market Research and Analysis:
Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and trends in the medical industry.

Analyze market conditions and pricing trends to optimize procurement strategies.

Cost Management:
Track procurement costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.

Implement cost-saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards and supplier relationships.

4. Documentation and Reporting:
Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier information.

Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance for management review.

5. Cross-functional Collaboration:
Internal Stakeholder Engagement:
Collaborate with healthcare professionals, clinicians, and department heads to understand procurement needs and priorities.

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of procurement activities with organizational goals.

Qualifications:
**Education**:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in purchasing, preferably in the medical industry.

Experience with medical procurement processes, including familiarity with medical supplies and equipment.

**Skills**:Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the medical industry.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Competencies:
Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
