Under general supervision, the purpose of this position is to create 2D and 3D content for interactive environments.
- Characteristics of Responsible Projects:

- Square Footage: < 50,000**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

Produces low-polygon 3D models and textures for a physically-based rendering pipeline. Artists are involved in every step of the model production process: modeling, texture layout, texture creation, lighting and asset placement.
- Incorporates internal and external feedback into projects in a timely manner.
- Coordinates with a variety of engineers, artists, and project professionals to employ a wide range of skills and software tools in support of the visual and technical designs for various interactive environments.
- Makes artistic judgments throughout production process in order to produce models that meet artistic standards.
- Provides accurate time estimates to complete projects.
- Optimizes new and existing geometry, texture and lighting as needed in order to produce efficient models.
- Finds and submit bugs to the engineering team.
- Performs other duties as assigned.**SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES**

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance, and/or training to coworkers.**QUALIFICATIONS**

Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in a related field of work or equivalent work experience. Requires technical knowledge, training and understanding of the job's requirements. Minimum 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands on software experience with 3DS Max, Maya, & Adobe Creative Suite.
- Intermediate experience with real-time environments, ideally using Physically Based Rendering. Intermediate knowledge of materials and lighting.
- Experience with low-polygon modeling for gaming or real-time environments.**CERTIFICATES and/or LICENSES**

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information.**FINANCIAL KNOWLEDGE**

Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate intermediate figures such as percentages, discounts, and/or commissions. Conducts basic financial analysis.**REASONING ABILITY**

Knowledge and interest in architectural design and visualization.
