- 03+ years Working Experience as Mine Manager in Open Cast Coal Mine

- 1-Strong Leadership, Communication, And Problem-Solving Skills.

2-Exposure To Potentially Hazardous Conditions Such As Underground Work, Heavy Machinery, And Environmental Challenges.

3-May Require Working In Remote Locations With Limited Access To Services.Must Be Available To Address Emergencies And Operational Issues At All Times.

4-In-Depth Knowledge Of Mining Processes, Safety Protocols, And Legal Compliance.

5-Ability To Manage Teams In High-Pressure And Sometimes Dangerous Environments.

6-Excellent Organizational Skills To Balance Production And Safety.

**Job Description -**

1-Reporting To General Manager - Mines

2-It Is Statutory Post Under The Mines Act 1952 And The Coal Mines Regulations -2017 (CMR-2017) Controlled By The Directorate General Mines Safety (DGMS) Under The Ministry Of Labour.

3-He Will Be Responsible For Safety Of The Man And Machine Deployed Within The Mine Boundary Of The Particular Mine

4-.He Is Also Responsible For Supply Of Safety Material Required For Maintaining The Safe Mining Operation On Day To Day Basis.

5-In Addition To This He Will Be Responsible For Overall Production And Coal Dispatch, Day To Day Production Planning.

6-Liasioning With Nearby Villagers/ Paf/ Pap. To Assist In Land Acquisition.

7-Liasionng With District Authorities Viz Collector, Tehsildar, Distt. Mining Officer And Other Stake Holders.

8-He Will Also Be Responsible Of Overall Mining Activities And Security Of Mine Premises.

9-To Look After All Related Issues At Mine Site.

10-Ensure That All Operations Comply With The Mines Act, Relevant Mining Laws, Safety Standards, And Environmental Regulations.

11-Maintain All Statutory Records And Documents As Required By Law.Liaise With Government Bodies, Regulatory Authorities, And Inspectors During Audits And Inspections.

12-Implement And Monitor All Safety Protocols And Guidelines To Ensure The Health And Safety Of Workers In The Mine.

13-Conduct Regular Safety Inspections And Risk Assessments To Minimize Hazards And Accidents.

14-Ensure That All Safety Equipment Is Available, Functioning, And Used Properly By All Staff.

15-Oversee Daily Mining Operations, Ensuring That Production Targets Are Met While Maintaining Safety And Efficiency.

16-Plan And Coordinate The Excavation Of Minerals While Minimizing Environmental Impacts.

17-Ensure That Mining Equipment Is Well-Maintained And Operational.Supervise And Direct The Mine Workers, Supervisors, And Technical Staff.

18-Ensure That Workers Are Trained In The Safe And Efficient Use Of Equipment And That They Follow Proper Procedures.

19-Resolve Disputes Or Issues Among Workers, And Enforce Discipline When Necessary.

20-Ensure That The Provisions Of The Mines Act Regarding Working Hours, Rest Periods, And Overtime Are Adhered To.

21-Provide Proper Facilities Such As Drinking Water, Restrooms, First Aid, And Emergency Services As Mandated By Law.

21-Promote The Welfare Of The Workers, Including Access To Medical Care And Clean Living Conditions.

22-In The Event Of Accidents Or Dangerous Occurrences, Ensure Proper Reporting To The Concerned Authorities.

23-Conduct Thorough Investigations Of Accidents To Determine Causes And Implement Corrective Measures To Prevent Recurrence.

24-Keep Records Of All Incidents And Report Them As Per The Requirements Of The Mines Act.

25-Ensure Compliance With Environmental Regulations, Including Waste Disposal, Pollution Control, And Rehabilitation Of Mining Areas.

26-Monitor And Minimize The Environmental Impact Of Mining Activities.
