**PDC Fitter Trimming Job Description**:
**Objective**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Trimming and shaping PDC cutters to exact specifications using specialized equipment.
- Inspecting and measuring finished components to ensure they meet quality and design standards.
- Assembling PDC cutters into drill bit bodies, including brazing and soldering as required.
- Conducting routine maintenance on trimming and fitting equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- Collaborating with engineering and quality assurance teams to address any discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Maintaining a clean and safe work environment in compliance with safety regulations.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in machining or a related field is a plus.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, machining tools, and measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow complex instructions.
- Basic understanding of materials science, specifically related to polycrystalline diamond materials.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills and ability to report on work progress.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for precise work.
- Capability to lift and manipulate objects of moderate weight.

**Working Conditions**:

- Factory or workshop setting with exposure to noise and machinery.
- Safety gear and precautions are mandatory due to the nature of the work.
