- As Manufacturing Quality Line In-charge - Machine Shop you will be part of the Manufacturing Quality Team and will report to Manufacturing Quality Section Head Machine Shop.The Purpose of your role is to Ensure implementation of quality assurance/control and inspection systems, for highest quality of HMCL manufactured vehicles.**A purpose driven role for you**
- A purpose driven role for you will include-Ensure In-plant manufacturing products to ensure compliance with global standards
- Analysis of internal failures (rework, rejection, MI/FI defects) and external failures (market issues, warranty)
- Identify/execute improvement projects
- Periodic review of projects & KPIs.
- Identify and audit Critical to Quality Stages.
- Evaluate Process and Machine Capability
- Implementation of QM Matrix of CTQ Machine.
- Effective Functioning of CTQ Machines.
- MIS Monitor for daily Rejection & Rework in Shop floor.
- Collaborating with operations to develop and implement Controls and Improvements to avoid Defect Outflows.
- Coordinating with Supplier Quality for Incoming parts issue analysing & getting action plans for the same.
- Maintain Standard Operating Procedures, and other Quality Documents related to IMS & TPM.
- Maintaining 5s, Safety and TPM culture in Department
- Conducting Safety Meetings, Various Audits of the Department
- Carrying out regular maintenance of equipments and infrastructure**A Day in the life**
- On a day to day basis you will be coordinating with internal and external stakeholders such as SAS, GB, Market Quality etc. to ensure Product/Process as well as Design Improvements.**Academic Qualification & Experience**
- Diploma / Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical.
- Diploma -6 - 8 Years/ BE - 2 - 4 Years.**Technical Skills/Knowledge**
- 1. Process Knowledge in Machining Process of Forging Parts Like Cr Shaft, Con Rod, Cy Block components.
- 2. Quality Audits in line as per audit planning (Part inspection, Product and Process Audit competence).
- 3. Understanding of GD&T Geometrical Dimensional & Tolerancing requirements & independently perform dimensional inspection of parts with CMM, Roughness tester, Contour, Hardness tester, Lead Profile Projector & Roundness tester etc.
- 4. Warranty parts analysis & action plan preparations.
- 5. Knowledge of “PFMEA, PQCT (Product Quality Control Table) QA (Quality Assurance) Rate, QM (Quality Maintenance) Matrix etc.**Behavioural Skills**
