**SAP Basis Administrator**

**Job summary**

**Competency**

1. Installation & Maintenance of Windows OS & LINUX

2. Basic Understanding of SAP NetWeaver, ECC Architectures

4. SAP Client Administration (create client, copy client, delete client, export/import client)

5. Design and implement an Optimal SAP configuration to maximize System Performance and availability

6. SAP Web Dispatcher Installation and Configuration.

7. Mandatory to be trained on SAP Basis for 6 months

**Key Responsibilities**

1. Manage SAP users, authorizations, and profiles & monitor all SAP systems

3. Develop and Maintain System Documentation for all SAP Systems

4. Plan & Implement, Scheduled SAP Systems Backup & Restore Procedures With documentation.

5. SAP System Maintenance (hot packages and kernel upgrades) through all systems using a Structured Methodology.

6. Installation, Configuration of SAP GUI and Troubleshooting

7.Manage overall OS Space and Disk management

8. OS level Backup & Recovery Operations

9. OS level Security and Patch Monitoring and Management

10. Weekly Transports Backup's for all SAP Systems.
