Audit & Account Assistant

Calculating taxes and submitting tax returns to comply with the law
- Auditing financial documents to ensure they are accurate and maintaining the confidentiality of the financial data
- Suggesting financial policies and procedures based on the overall financial status of the organisation
- Managing the company’s accounts to ensure on-time payment and overseeing the software system for financial needs
- Maintain the privacy of financial information, and when necessary, backup databases
- Rectify any anomalies or inconsistencies they discover in the company’s financial document
- Make and evaluate the organisation’s year-end financial accounts
- Compose budget forecasts
- Reporting on the company’s financial health and liquidity to senior managers.
- Managing the company’s financial systems and budgets.
- Maintaining a focus on financial controls.
- Informing the Board of Directors on the state of the organisations finances.
- Analysing and interpreting large volumes of statistical data.
- Exploring the reasons for any variances in figures.
- Handling secret information in a confidential manner.
- Carefully looking at the expenses submitted by employees.
- Presenting accurate financial forecasts at team meetings.
- Maintaining financial details to ensure legal requirements are met.
- Interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
- Securing financial information by completing database backups.
- Quickly resolving any queries clients may have.
- Substantiating financial transactions by auditing documents.
- Assisting management teams in the decision-making process.
- Ensuring financial records are accurate throughout the year.
- Liaising with auditors and regulatory bodies to deal with any financial irregularities.
- Ensuring that cashflow is utilized properly and effectively.
- Moving money from one account to another.
**Skills**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel etc.
- Tally, ERP
- Ability to manage heavy workloads and strict deadlines.
- A methodical and logical approach towards overcoming obstacles.
- Comfortable working with numbers for long periods of time.
