Legal Assistant

**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Provide administrative support to attorneys, including managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and preparing legal documents.
- Assist in the preparation, review, and filing of legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to assist in case preparation.
- Manage and organize legal files, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documents are easily accessible.
- Coordinate communication between clients, witnesses, and other involved parties.
- Prepare and process correspondence, memos, and reports.
- Assist in the preparation of trial and hearing materials.
**Qualifications**:
- A minimum of 5years experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar role.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize workload effectively.
- Discretion and the ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
- A paralegal certification or relevant educational background is preferred.
