Sales Representative

The Sales Representative for Modern Trade is responsible for managing and expanding the company's product presence in large retail chains, supermarkets, and hypermarkets. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with key accounts, ensuring product availability, implementing promotional activities, and achieving sales targets. The individual will work closely with category managers, buyers, and store managers to ensure optimal product placement and visibility, while also analyzing sales data to drive performance.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Account Management**:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts, including supermarket chains, hypermarkets, and other modern trade outlets.
- Ensure timely product listing, pricing, and promotions in line with company goals.
- Conduct regular store visits to assess product placement, stock levels, and shelf space.
- **Sales Strategy & Execution**:
- Achieve sales targets by driving volume growth, new product placements, and increasing market share within the modern trade channel.
- Identify opportunities for up-selling and cross-selling within existing accounts.
- Implement and monitor in-store promotions to maximize sales impact.
- **Market Analysis & Reporting**:
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, competitor analysis, and market share assessments.
- Provide feedback on customer preferences, competitor activities, and any relevant market insights.
- **Collaboration & Cross-Functional Coordination**:
- Collaborate with marketing and supply chain teams to ensure product availability, timely deliveries, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate with merchandising teams to ensure optimal display and visibility of products at the store level.
- **Problem Solving & Issue Resolution**:
- Address customer queries and resolve any issues related to product availability, delivery, or promotions.
- Negotiate and resolve any pricing or margin-related concerns with buyers and category managers.
Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
