Chemistry Lecturer

Chemistry Professor

We are seeking a highly qualified Chemistry Professor to teach undergraduate and graduate level chemistry courses. In this role, you will be responsible for developing course curriculum, instructing students effectively in classroom and laboratory environments, evaluating student progress, and staying current in developments in the field of chemistry.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop syllabi and course instructional materials for inorganic, organic, analytical and physical chemistry courses
- Teach chemistry theory and lab components through lectures, demonstrations, seminars, etc.
- Employ innovative and engaging teaching methods to explain complex concepts
- Administer, evaluate and provide feedback on exams, lab reports, presentations and other student assignments
- Maintain student attendance records, grades and related documentation
- Monitor student progress, identifying learning issues and areas needing improvement
- Perform chemistry research independently or with students, pursuing lines of scientific inquiry through controlled experiments
- Publish academic papers, author textbooks or pursue other scholarly contributions to the field of chemistry

**Requirements**:

- MSc in Chemistry
- NET or Doctorate Degree (PhD) in Chemistry
- Extensive knowledge of chemical theories across inorganic, organic, analytical and physical chemistry
- Proven excellence in instructional skills and classroom management
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities
- Ability to advise and mentor students effectively
