**Looking for an Furniture Designer to Join Our Startup Team**
- Preferably a graduate from UAL or Parsons; no experience required.
- Proficient in modern aesthetic designs and software.
- Immediate availability to start.
- Permeability in Bangalore (not a requirement)

**Responsibilities -**
- **Creative Ideation**:Generate innovative and trendsetting furniture design concepts that align with the brand's vision and resonate with the Indian market.
- **Design Development**:Transform initial concepts into detailed design plans, considering functionality, aesthetics, and feasibility.
- **Material Selection**: Research and select appropriate materials, considering factors such as durability, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
- **Technical Drawings**: Create comprehensive technical drawings and specifications using design software to guide the manufacturing process accurately.
- **Collaboration**:Liaise with cross-functional teams, including craftsmen, production, and marketing, to ensure seamless execution of designs.
- **Prototype Creation**: Oversee the construction of prototypes or sample models for production teams, offering insights and adjustments as needed.
- **Continuous Improvement**:Analyze and suggest enhancements to existing furniture designs based on market feedback and industry trends.
- **Market Trends**:Stay up-to-date with the latest furniture design trends, consumer preferences, and emerging technologies.

**Job Requirements -**
- **Education**:Bachelor's degree in furniture design, industrial design, product design, or a related field.
- **Experience**:While experience is a plus, fresh graduates with a strong portfolio showcasing design skills will also be considered.
- **Software Proficiency**:Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, 3ds Max, SketchUp, or similar tools for creating detailed technical drawings and 3D models.
- **Creative Aptitude**:Demonstrated ability to think creatively, innovatively, and bring fresh perspectives to design projects.
- **Material Knowledge**:Understanding of various materials used in furniture manufacturing, including wood, metal, upholstery, etc.
- **Communication Skills**: Effective verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with colleagues, present ideas, and understand client requirements.
- **Attention to Detail**:Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accurate and high-quality design output.
- **Adaptability**:Willingness to adapt designs based on feedback and changing requirements, while maintaining the design's integrity.
- **Problem-Solving**:Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges during the design and manufacturing process.
- **Passion**:A genuine passion for furniture design, a keen eye for aesthetics, and a drive to contribute to the growth of a startup brand.
- **Portfolio**:A well-organized portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design projects, demonstrating your skills and creative abilities.
