The Role

As a System Administrator at Kyndryl, you’ll solve complex problems and identify potential future issues across the spectrum of platforms and services. You’ll be at the forefront of new technology and modernization, working with some of our biggest clients - which means some of the biggest in the world.

There’s never a typical day as a System Administrator at Kyndryl, because no two projects are alike. You’ll be managing systems data for clients and providing day-to-day solutions and security compliance. You’ll oversee a queue of assignments and work directly with technicians, prioritizing tickets to deliver the best solutions to our clients.

Who You Are- Skill sets & Certification requirement:

- Certifications: CCNP, CCIE or equivalent, NSE 4/5/7 ,.
- Qualification/Experience: BSc. B.E./B. Tech, M.E. /M. Tech / 12+ years
- Other important skill sets & Product knowledge.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to write purchase- justifications, train users in complex topics, make presentations to an
- internal audience, and interact positively with upper management
- CISCO, Fortinet, Radware, VM-Ware NSX, SD-WAN, Paloalto.

Job Descrioption:

- To ensure optimal performance and reliability, develop and implement network designs, including topology, protocols, and network security measures.
- Regularly monitor network systems and proactively identify and resolve network issues to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
- Implement and maintain network security measures, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access controls, to protect sensitive company data from unauthorized access and cyber threats.
- Assess network performance, identify areas for improvement, and plan and implement network upgrades and expansions to meet the organization's growing needs.
- Lead and manage a team of network professionals, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they perform their roles effectively and efficiently.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, diagrams, processes, and procedures to facilitate troubleshooting, maintenance, and future network enhancements.
- Collaborate with vendors to procure network equipment, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery of services and support.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues, including hardware and software failures, connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks, using network diagnostic tools and techniques.
- Analyze network performance data and implement strategies to optimize network performance, such as bandwidth utilization, network throughput, and response times.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and strategies to ensure network availability and data backup during network failures or natural disasters.
- Strong understanding of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) framework and best practices.
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to network security and data privacy, such as GDPR and HIPAA.
