Job Responsibilities:
- Develop and formulate ink recipes suitable for various printing processes.
- Conduct quality control tests on raw materials and finished ink products to ensure adherence to various performance parameters.
- Optimize ink formulations for desired print characteristics, including adhesion, drying time, gloss, and resistance to environmental factors.
- Collaborate with printing press operators and other stakeholders to troubleshoot ink-related issues during production runs and implement corrective actions.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in ink chemistry and printing technologies.
- Manage inventory of raw materials and chemicals.
- Maintain accurate records of ink formulations, test results, and production batches for traceability and quality assurance purposes.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as an ink chemist in the printing industry.
- Diploma or equivalent certification in printing technology, chemistry, chemical engineering, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of ink chemistry principles, including pigment dispersion, resin systems, solvent selection, and drying mechanisms.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques and equipment used for ink formulation and analysis, such as spectrophotometers, viscometers, and rheometers.
- Ability to interpret and analyze data from quality control tests and make informed decisions regarding ink formulation adjustments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards related to ink formulation and chemical safety.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
