What will your day look like?
**As a Credit Assessor, you will**:
Responsible for delivering accurate and timely credit decisions to support Small and Medium Enterprises across, Asset Finance, Cash Flow and Business Lending products.
Provide best in class customer service to small and medium enterprises.
Dealing with all enquires in a friendly and timely manner.
Delivering commercial and pragmatic decisions in line with ANZ risk appetite.
As a Credit Assessment Officer, you will be responsible for providing pragmatic commercial financing solutions for our valued business banking customers, who are seeking asset finance, business lending and/or cash flow solutions.
You’ll be empowered to exercise sound credit judgment and deliver responsible and timely decisions that fall within ANZ’s risk appetite, whilst adhering to banking and regulatory compliance guidelines.
Your role will involve working collaboratively in teams to deliver outcomes for our business banking customers. You will also work closely with our business banking and relationship managers, brokers, mobile lenders and our ANZ branch network to provide best-in-class financing solutions.
You will progressively build your skillset and work across a vast range of products, including commercial investment facilities, cash flow solutions as well as vehicle and business equipment finance.
What will you bring?
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Familiarity with banking products and systems, with previous experience in areas such as credit assessment, lending and/or credit risk
A commerce or finance degree, with the ability to interpret and analyse financial statements.
Commercial acumen that can deliver pragmatic solutions that meet the needs of our customers and communities.
Stakeholder management skills with the ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders to communicate and collaborate effectively.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, whilst navigating multiple systems and processes seamlessly.
An unwavering motivation to grow and develop a fulfilling career within the Banking Industry.
