**About Karigar - School of Applied Learning**
- Lend A Hand India’s Karigar - School of Applied Learning was established in 2020 as a skills hub to showcase a model for multi-skill vocational education. Training in skills such as carpentry, gardening and landscaping, fabrication, electrical works, automobile works, food preservation, baking, plumbing, and construction works is provided here through skill-based courses, workshops, and hobby classes. The core objective is to make work with hands popular leading to the universalization of skill education. This facility is also used for training trainers, as an incubator for young entrepreneurs, and as an innovation lab. Karigar believes that developing basic engineering skills helps in our everyday lives and enables us to find faults, repair, reuse, recycle, and upcycle various products by ourselves. Our lab encourages innovation and the creation of useful products in our everyday life.

**About the Electrical Lab**:
The Electrical Lab at Karigar aims to provide a practical learning environment where learners understand everything about electricity and electrical works. The lab has two main sections: Home Wiring and Home Appliances. The lab also hosts repair cafe’s where members bring their broken appliances and learn to repair them.

**About Electro-Mechanics Lab**:
The lab aims to provide a practical learning environment for learning the new-age skills of electro-mechanics. It includes IoT sensor-based Technology, robotics, 3D design, 3D printing, app development, and game development. This learning hub applies principles of science, mathematics, computing, coding, design thinking, electronics and mechanics to learn and keep abreast of the latest developments. This lab is set up with the vision of introducing automation in different engineering and technology fields.

**About the Food Processing and Baking Lab**:
The main aim of this lab is to provide a practical learning environment where learners develop food processing and baking skills. It is a skill-learning hub where principles of health, nutrition, science, geography, mathematics, culture, and history are applied to learn everything about processing farmer’s produce to innovate and develop healthy and nutritious food products.

**About the positions: We have Three positions in three labs**

An assistant lab in charge supports the lab in charge in implementing all lab operations, including designing and delivering skilling programs, resource management, research, and innovation, with the aim of igniting and further developing an interest and passion for the skill area.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design and Deliver Programs: Execute tasks for designing and delivering skilling programs tailored for diverse individuals, with the necessary support from training personnel.
- Quality and Growth: Be an active team member to ensure high-quality delivery of programs and contribute to the capacity building and growth of the team while staying updated with new trends.
- Product Innovation: Design and create innovative, lab-specific products, managing their production for sales purposes.
- Orientation and Outreach: Facilitate lab orientations for a diverse group of visitors and participate in Lend A Hand India's outreach activities.
- Resource Management: I assist in managing lab resources, handling material procurement, maintaining inventory logs, and aiding in budget creation for necessary tools and materials.
- Documentation and Analysis: Maintain lab-specific documentation like daily logs and reports and undertake data management and analysis.
- Collaboration: Work in sync with cross-functional teams across the organization for various outreach initiatives.
- General Tasks: Complete any additional tasks assigned by Lab-Incharge

**Requirements**:

- Educational Background: A diploma or Graduate in Electronics or related fields with 2 to 4 years of experience in training. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Technical Proficiency: Knowledge and skills in using MS Office and photo and video editing software proficiency.
- Skill Facilitation: A strong passion for facilitating learning and skill development.
- Creativity and Innovation: Thinking creatively and outside the box is crucial.
- Commitment: Willingness to work on Sundays and adapt to flexible working hours.
- Sector Experience: Prior experience in the developmental sector is considered beneficial.
