**Position Title**:
Shift Incharge

**Purpose of Role**:
Supervise the Production Activities in all the Rolling Mills

**Position Summary**:
Position will be responsible for managing day to day Shift activities ,Hot metal receipt planning ,Manpower handling, Achieve Shift Targets, Inventory control, Quality Product output, FTR improvement, High level reporting, Manpower skill mapping and Skill improvement, Control in Safety of Workmen in shifts & self. Trouble shooting skills. Documents preparation and Verification, production entries through SAP

**Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities**:

- Supervise the Production Activities in all the Rolling Mills
- Ensure Machine Run as per SOP, Plant Standards & Work Instructions.
- Montior & Analyse the Production Process Parameters
- Identify & Suggest Corrective & Preventive actions for any Repetitive Breakdowns
- Monitor & Analyse the Process Parameters through SAP & Assist in Various Audits.
- Coordinate with Engineering Department for the Uptime of Rolling Mills.
- Supervise the Planned Shutdown activities & Other Breakdowns. Identify & Analyse the Root Cause
- Take Necessary Corrective & Preventive actions.
- Assist in project to reduce rod rejection and breaks to zero
- Assist in Projects for reduction in FO consumption in EC and Alloy Grade
- Assist in various projects taken up by Rolling Mill for Process Improvement
- Ensure Best Housekeeping and Safety Practices Must have experience in manufacturing industry (similar background preferred)
