Duties

Basic Function of the Position: The position is located in the Information Management Office (IMO), U.S. Embassy, New Delhi. The incumbent will work under the direct supervision of the Print and Graphics Supervisor. The Print and Graphics Coordinator creates visual text and imagery concepts, provides commercial photography services, and produces high-end-printed products using modern production software and hardware. According to U.S. Mission India’s objectives, designs, and produces compelling content or products that effectively communicates the ideas that inspire, inform, or captivate the appropriate audiences. S/he must have extensive knowledge to advise clients on strategies to engage targeted audiences and identify the best ways to illustrate the client’s vision while complying with design best practices. S/he will provide work guidance to the Digital Press and Finishing Operators and monitors daily printing operations, including workflow, quality control, and product delivery to U.S. Mission India customers. S/he must have an adequate understanding of photography, printing manufacturing, and graphic design to carry out the vital duties of /as delegated by the unit chief. S/he will also support the Public Diplomacy’s press and media coverage efforts for high-visibility visits and events. S/he will also serve as procurement agent for various Information Management sections, maintains physical and digital records, and processes and reports to the Financial Management Center on office expenses. The incumbent will also perform other duties as assigned. **Note: The incumbent will also be required to regularly move objects and must be capable of individually handling items weighing up to 50 lbs.**

Qualifications and Evaluations

**Requirements**:
**EXPERIENCE**:Three years of experience in a printing publication organization, printing press, or advertising agency and an operational knowledge of graphic designing/ print production/ digital single-lens reflex camera equipment. Must have experience in design concepts in advertising or mass communications with customers and vendors.

**Education Requirements**:
Successful completion of two years of college studies and a certificate or diploma in Printing or Graphic Design or Photography is required.

**Evaluations**:
**LANGUAGE**:
Good working knowledge in English (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required. This may be tested.

Good working knowledge in Hindi (Speaking, Reading, and Writing) is required.
