The SEO Content Writer plays a crucial role in crafting engaging, informative, and search engine optimized content for our EdTech platform. This individual will collaborate closely with the marketing and content teams to produce high-quality content that enhances the online presence of our educational products and services.

**Responsibilities**:
**Content Creation**:

- Develop compelling and informative content tailored to our target audience, including blog posts, articles, website copy, product descriptions, and social media posts.
- Ensure all content aligns with the company’s brand voice, style guidelines, and SEO best practices.
- Conduct thorough research on relevant topics in the EdTech industry, staying up-to-date with trends, news and advancements.

**SEO Optimization**:

- Conduct keyword research to identify high-traffic and relevant keywords/topics.
- Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies to optimize content for search engines.
- Utilize SEO tools to analyze performance, track keyword rankings and identify opportunities for improvement.

**Content Strategy**:

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and execute content strategies that drive organic traffic, engagement and conversions.
- Generate ideas for new content initiatives based on keyword research, industry trends and audience interests.
- Provide insights and recommendations for optimizing content performance based on data analysis and feedback.

**Content Management**:

- Manage content calendars, ensuring timely publication and alignment with marketing campaigns and initiatives.
- Edit and proofread content to ensure accuracy, clarity and consistency.
- Optimize existing content to improve search visibility and user experience.

**Performance Analysis**:

- Monitor and analyze content performance metrics, including website traffic, user engagement and conversion rates.
- Generate reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and identify areas for optimization.
- Provide recommendations for content optimization based on performance insights and data-driven analysis.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree: A degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or Marketing is a plus, but not always required.
- Experience: While not always mandatory, experience in content writing or SEO is a valuable asset. Strong writing and editing skills with impeccable grammar and attention to detail.
- Excellent Written English: (Grammar Nazi) Strong grammar, punctuation, and spelling are essential for crafting professional content. Knowledge of content management systems (CMS) such as WordPress or Drupal.
- Engaging Writing Style: The ability to capture the reader's attention and keep them interested is crucial.
- Content Formatting: Experience formatting content for online platforms, including headings, subheadings, and bullet points.
- Keyword Research & Optimization: Understanding how to identify relevant keywords and integrate them naturally into content.
- SEO Best Practices: Knowledge of SEO best practices, such as title tag optimization, meta descriptions, and internal linking.
- Content Management Systems (CMS): Familiarity with popular CMS platforms like WordPress can be advantageous.
