Quantity Surveyor and Tendering

Detailed Job Duties shall include but not be limited to the following:
Ø Estimating quantity and items as per drawings.

Ø Review of scope of work, project Preamble, Drawings and Specifications.

Ø Review the Schedules of Project Agreements and detail work involved in Schedule B, C and D etc.

Ø Confirm work requirements in line with IRC as well as MoRTH guidelines.

Ø Ensure quantity are within the company standards and project requirements and scheduled Scope are available in the project system/tracker/database for Monitoring.

Ø Find ways to optimize on quantities within purview of MoRTH and IRC Codes.

Ø Monitoring of field design/drawing changes as per site conditions and coordinating with site procurement team and Billing team regarding changes.

Ø Collecting data from each project site regarding materials procured and making comprehensive analysis of consumption patterns, wastage as well as identifying any leaks in the system.

Ø Evaluations of Site Instruction with Planned cost in comparison to original approved contract scope of work and identify difference in scope of works and subsequently finalize the site P&L.

Ø Ensure that the subcontractor submits a new price If activity is not included in original scope of works and subsequently process the new price for evaluation and approval from management.

Ø Assessment of change work Orders and Variations (Subcontractor and Client) in line with the Contract of Agreement.

Ø Monitor flow of Payments to subcontractors against budget quantities and actual progress done.

Ø Evaluation of Progress Measurement submitted by Subcontractor QS and generating reports to Company’s Main system for progress Measurement and Accounting.

Ø Review and Assessment of complex and high-risk scope of works for possible Value Engineering.

Ø Review of Tender Documents and Client requirements. Searching for new tenders across multiple government and private websites and updating management.

Ø Evaluation of Material Specification and Prices of Vendors /Subcontractors against Project Specifications.

Ø Monitoring projects with respect to budgeted cost, demand forecasts, time over-runs to ensure timely execution of projects.

Ø Coordinate technical and Commercial meetings with client and subcontractors.

Ø Conduct Joint survey by both Parties going to site visit, and check to actual work done Progress Measurement aligned with Finalized Weekly Progress Percentage.

Ø Extra item rate analysis, certification, and raising requirement for payments.

Ø Preparing deviation and variation statement for final payments of the Contractors.

Ø Process implementation with periodic reviews and recommendations for process improvement for business effectiveness.

**Requirements**:
Ø Hold a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction-related qualifications or other qualified estimation certificates

Ø Experience in NHAI contractor is a must. Experience with NHAI authority dealing with senior level government officers will be a plus.

Ø Experience of tendering and other requirements mentioned above is a must.

**Salary**: ₹22,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
