Music Teacher

Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging and interactive music lessons that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives, catering to the diverse learning needs and interests of students.
- Teach fundamental music concepts, including music theory, ear training, sight-reading, rhythm, harmony, and music history, using a variety of teaching strategies and instructional materials.
- Provide instruction in voice, piano, guitar, or other musical instruments, adapting lessons to meet the skill levels and interests of individual students.
- Lead and conduct instrumental and vocal ensembles, such as choirs, bands, orchestras, and chamber groups, preparing students for performances and competitions.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive rehearsal environment where students collaborate, communicate, and develop their musical talents and abilities.
- Organize and coordinate music performances, concerts, recitals, and other musical events, showcasing student achievements and talents to the school community and beyond.
- Integrate technology into music instruction, incorporating music software, digital recording equipment, and multimedia resources to enhance teaching and learning experiences.
- Assess student learning and progress through ongoing formative and summative assessments, providing constructive feedback and support to help students achieve their musical goals.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and community stakeholders to promote music education and participation in music programs, clubs, and extracurricular activities.
- Participate in professional development activities, workshops, and conferences to stay current with best practices in music education and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the school's music program.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or related field.
- Teaching certification or licensure in Music Education (if applicable).
- Previous experience teaching music at the elementary, middle, or high school level, with a strong background in instrumental or vocal instruction.
- Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments, with expertise in voice, piano, guitar, or other instruments preferred.
- Strong knowledge of music theory, music history, and music pedagogy, with the ability to teach a range of musical genres and styles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students in meaningful musical experiences.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a passion for music education, with a commitment to fostering a love for music among students.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and community members to support the school's music program and initiatives.
- Dedication to ongoing professional growth and development as a music educator, with a willingness to pursue additional training and certifications as needed.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
