A publishing Production Assistant who works in the production department assists production managers or coordinators with the technical aspects of creating and delivering books. These aspects may include formatting, designing, printing, binding, and distributing the publications.

**Responsibilities**:
Generally, they are responsible for printing and distributing scripts. This role involves tracking book materials among in-house departments and vendors, maintaining schedules, generating cost estimates, and purchasing manufacturing materials.
- Assist in production work, including but not limited to printing, binding, and packaging of books.
- Aid in the upkeep of stock inventory, ensuring accurate records of book quantities.
- Support maintenance activities for machinery and equipment used in book production.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline book-making processes and improve efficiency.
- Assist in marketing initiatives for book promotion when required, contributing to the growth of sales.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe and productive environment.

**Production Assistant duties**:
Production Assistants provide administrative support to the production team (including invoicing and maintaining databases) and throughout the production process from initial concept to delivery.

They also maintain excellent relationships with in-house colleagues and external stakeholders.

**Production Assistant Qualification & Requirements**:
**Requirements**:
A Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification.
- Prior experience in a production or manufacturing in Publishing & Printing environment is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of bookbinding techniques and machinery is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities.
- Punctuality and reliability in adhering to assigned work hours.

**Experience**:

- Total work: 04 years (preferred) minimum experience in Book Publishing/Printing industry is must.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From ₹25,000.00 per month
