Electrician (Mining/orissa)

**Job Summary / Purpose of Position**

He will work under supervision within a team to perform and complete electrical (24 volt DC and 6.6 kv Ac ) maintenance and repairs jobs on the machine with high availability targets. He will serve as the Liebherr official representative while on duty.

**Role and Responsibilities**:
**Essential Job Duties**:

- Meet all Safety procedures and regulations in place, as per Liebherr’s and Customer’s guidelines.
- Perform electrical works on the machines. He may also perform or assist with mechanical works.
- Perform the maintenance tasks by using the relevant hand and power tools recommended by the Liebherr OEM.

**Position Specific Competencies**:

- Good knowledge in electric and electronic.
- Reading and understanding of complex electrical schematics
- Wiring of electrical cabinets
- Repair of electrical wiring and connections
- Understanding of software and electronics
- Mechanical knowledge would be a plus.
- Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic drawings and schematics.
- Ability to communicate in verbal and written form, to write a technical job report.

**Qualification and Education Requirements**

Trade Certificate Holder from a Government recognised Institute / Diploma in Engineering with
**Certification from the Appropriate Government Authority to work in 6.6kva line, which is mandatory.**

**Preferred Skills / Special Skills**

Good knowledge and experience in mechanic, hydraulic.
Knowledge in electrical and electronic is mandatory
Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic & electrical drawings and schematics.
Ability to communicate in verbal and written form, to write a technical job report.
Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
